Ministry friends!

Throughout the year we and our teams need inspiration as well as tools to equip us to meet goals while serving in ministry but your finances are overcommitted and so is your calendar.

WeGrowMinistries.com has put together, Cultivate, an answer for your needs---so you won’t have to do all the work.  We’ve found a great team of presenters who will share informative resources AND help volunteers and leaders be able to continually grow well after Cultivate is over!

Below we’ve provided presenter bios and workshop descriptions to help you and your team plan their day.

NETWORKING you want, INSPIRATION you long for and EQUIPPING strategies you need

Early Childhood Track // Jackie Reynolds

With 40 years of teaching in the early childhood ministry, Jackie has so much to offer others who desire to impact kids and families.  When observing her kindergarten class, she exemplifies creativity with storytelling as well as modeling a loving connection with her class and families.  She has mastered the art of teaching and reaching kids!

Session 1:Let’s Be Ready To Use Our Gift of Teaching

Having a lesson is a great place to start but how do you make it come alive!  In this session you will learn to make preschool lesson plans work for you and your children as well as gain some skills to organize everything you need.  Learn a strategy to daily prepare for your class time.

Session 2: Take Ourselves Up a Notch

Leaving a lasting legacy with kids and their parents goes beyond your personal abilities.  Learn how to partner with the Lord as you prepare yourself and learn what God desires to accomplish through each child.

Session 3:  Stretch the Way We Present Our Lesson and Make It Memorable

This session will be full of the best preschool techniques to engage children and keep them moving in God’s direction.  You will walk away with fun, creative and easy to utilize ideas that will make it easy for kids to remember what they’re learning.

Elementary Track // Rhonda Haslett

As a friend to those who minister to teens and children, Rhonda Haslett is a veteran who equips and empowers ministers through practical workshops, systematic processing, hands-on experience.  She is the founder of a children’s ministry network resource, WeGrowMinistries.com as well as "Pasta Roni & Friends,” an evangelistic ministry to children and families.  She and her husband are currently youth pastors in Indianapolis where they along with their 4 children reside.  Did we mention that she is designed to brainstorm!  You will walk away with many ways to STRETCH yourself for greater impact.

Session 1: Establishing a Strong Environment for SMALL GROUP Impact

Research makes it clear; the generation of children in our ministries today is vastly different than any other group of children the church has sought to reach.  They engage and experiment with learning and community in ways that mandate different methodologies.  Discover the unique learning characteristics of today's kid and learn to leverage those characteristics in your small group ministry.

Session 2: Essential Elements for Experiential LARGE GROUP Impact

In this session we’ll approach the best practices that will help you expand your abilities for high influence toward life transformation.  In our discussion we’ll share about missions, kids in ministry and most importantly, kids experiencing the presence of God.  Let’s make kids church sizzle!

Session 3: Care for Yourself and Your Team

Ministry has a way of stretching us beyond what we thought we could ever imagine.   Children’s ministry leaders often feel pulled as they feel the internal and external pressures of ministry expectations. This session will show you how to navigate through the natural emotions of ministry in order to understand healthy boundaries.  Explore ways to create breaks in ministry when there seem to be none on the horizon.  Defeating burnout for your team members can happen!  Health for your team starts with health for yourself.

Youth Track // Rob Haslett

Combined with nearly 20 years of ministry experience and longevity at his current location of ministry, Rob will help you grow in areas you may have not considered necessary.  He enjoys experiencing ministry in a team setting and loves pouring into other ministers around the state through camps, conferences, and organizing youth ministry gatherings.  Being with students and walking alongside other youth ministers in a relational setting is what fuels his ministry initiatives.  He received his B.S. in youth ministry from North Central University.

Session 1:  Top Mistakes of Every Youth Worker

From experience and observing others in ministry Rob will share ways to stretch your mind to think past common mistakes in order to have a long and successful ministry.

Session 2:  You've Got What It Takes

Eight things that you already have (but might not know it) that makes your ministry impacting.
Regardless of your current ministry conditions, this session will help you feel confident to fulfill your calling to teens.

Session 3: STRETCH, in Every Sense of the Word

Stretching is an important routine, and not just to physical activity. This session will challenge you to stretch you in ALL areas of your life.
